This assignment was honestly pretty fun, most are though. I enjoyed learning how to use colored pencils as a different medium.
Perspective home
This is my dream home, uh it was pretty fun to make honestly. It was a bit chaotic getting all the shapes into perspective but after learning how to get things done, it went pretty well.
Impressionism painting
I enjoyed this project a lot, though I feel as if painting is my weak point. I believe with more time I could've done much better. Through using a wash for the backround to having to color it the brush strokes were harder to manage. I think if I worked to improve my painting skills I could do much better.
Alebrijes
Well, this is my little creation. I enjoyed making my alebrijes simply because I found the creativity portion of the assigmnet fun. I did struggle with wedging the clay, but I would definately work with clay again in the future to improve my pottery skills.
Self Portrait
I greatly enjoyed this project. I found it a fun challenge from working with vaue to learning how to do proportions. I feel that I GREATLY inproved over a short time span and generslly worked in a productive manner!
Close Up Value Drawing!
This drawing was a very challenging assignment for me, though I believe I did well. Adding value got very hard! I used a 2B and 4B pencil for most of this drawing, and put in lots of sweat and tears over it. Once we got my scaling correct I think it went well there on out!
My book!
This is my book! It was pretty challenging to make but once I got the hang of it the project flew by. From poking the holes to threading the signatures in I'd say i liked this assignment! I believe my end pages were done pretty well though I could work on the spine in the future.
My mask! :)
This is my mask! I spent quite a bit of time on it but it seemed to turn out alright :). I found this very challenging and I do NOT enjoy sewing is what I've learned from this! Overall the 1/4 inch stitching was a bit of a challenge, but once I got the hang of using my needle it was alright! I did love the was the thread blended in well.
